is now the official European Distributor of APICAL Polyimide
Film

Apical Division - Kaneka Texas Corporation Inc. and GTS
Flexible Materials Ltd. are pleased to announce that GTS
Flexible Materials Ltd. has been appointed the official
distributor for all grades of APICAL polyimide films in
Europe.
GTS
Flexible Materials Ltd. is one of Europe’s leading
and most progressive designers and manufacturers of flexible
laminates and tapes with a strong reputation for quality
and durability.
Apical
Division - KTC is a major supplier of polyimide film used
in a wide range of industries.

formal signing ceremony was held at GTS, Tuesday the 11th

Kaneka
High Tech Materials is pleased to report the planned increase
in APICAL Polyimide film capacity is operational and online.
In order to better service and supply the global market,
Kaneka has invested over 70 million dollars towards a
new production line at our facility in Shiga, Japan. The
line has been up and running for several months now. The
total capacity of this new line is in excess of 1 million
pounds per year. This brings Kaneka’s global polyimide
capacity to over 3 million pounds per year. At this time,
Kaneka is already planning further expansion of APICAL
production should the need arise. Kaneka High Tech Materials
is committed to meeting our customers APICAL Polyimide
needs for the present and into the future.
